Just like how we can compost orange peels, one person’s trash is another person’s treasure. Take something from the past and making it fit in the present (or future).

Here at UCR, we have over 1,000 different species of citrus, and the demographics are always changing. Citrus growers will learn about the cultures and people who surround them daily, and how to create a more fair, inclusive, and just community for all.

Just like how UCR made bold moves to transform the citrus industry worldwide, it was started by research, experimentation, and development right here in Riverside, California, and the UCR Citrus Experiment Station. Citrus growers will learn about how they can better their local communities to become global leaders.

Advisors play a major role in the lives of student leaders. Our amazing advisors can learn how they can grow as they support their students and organization(s) they advise.

The values of service and recognition are a symbol of NRHH. Citrus growers will learn how they can use these pillars in their everyday lives and in their roles as student leaders.
